Gato x Mr. Chompy's — Banana Bread Date

We discovered Mr. Chompy's at the Brentwood Farmers Market - the same farmers market where Gato got its start - and one taste of their Banana Bread Spread stopped us in our tracks. The spread blends organic, regeneratively-grown pecans and hazelnuts, sweet freeze-dried Thai bananas, small-batch Los Angeles honey, and Sri Lankan cinnamon. It tasted like banana bread, but better than banana bread has any right to be.

It was the one.

The result: a medjool date stuffed with Mr. Chompy's Banana Bread Spread, coated in dark chocolate, and finished with sea salt flakes. It might just be the best thing we've ever made.

*Every date is carefully pitted, but occasional pits or pit fragments may remain.

Keep refrigerated or frozen up to 12 months.
